At A Glance
The beginning of the project dates back to the childhood dreams of our Founders and CTOs Şamil Demirel and Umut Adalı: “A robot friend.” In 2023, Umut, who had recently become a parent, and Şamil, who was about to become a parent, came together to realize their shared dream and ensure that their children had a healthy relationship with technology through BOBO. This decision was further strengthened by the unifying and motivating efforts of our other founder, Tutku Sen Demirel.
I want you to know a lot, but I must admit that I cannot know everything. I want your curiosity to be limitless, but I cannot answer every question. I want to learn with you, to walk this journey beside you, but I know I cannot always be there. I want you to use technology to unlock more information and opportunities. However, I fear that we are reducing your vibrant, multidimensional world to the flat boundaries of screens, that we are shrinking the richness of life to the dimensions of phones and tablets.
Since I am meant to be an example to you, since the person I am, my desires, my
knowledge, and my actions will shape your world, I must do more than merely complain
and grumble.
Regardless of the challenges that lie ahead, I will never give up or surrender.
